Quetta, A comprehensive review meeting on the Balochistan Youth Policy 2024 took place on Thursday, chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, focusing on aligning the policy with the specific needs of the region’s youth and emphasizing gender equality.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Chief Minister Bugti highlighted the importance of directing the youth in constructive pathways and ensuring that the policy reflects the province’s demographic and cultural specifics. The meeting included notable figures such as Two Chief Minister Imran Zirkun, Special Secretary Isfandiar Baloch, and Secretary Youth Affairs Javed Anwar Shahwani. Discussions centered on tailoring the youth policy to foster skill utilization and provide equal opportunities regardless of gender. Bugti also stressed the role of the policy as a representation of young people’s effective presence in societal roles.
Further, the Chief Minister appreciated the contributions of Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, a former provincial youth minister, and directed the drafting of a policy proposal within ten days, ensuring it incorporates comprehensive recommendations relevant to the current needs of Balochistan’s youth.
