Balochistan Police Officers Complete Advanced Counter-Terrorism Training

Quetta: In a significant step towards enhancing law enforcement capabilities, 183 officers of the Balochistan Police have successfully completed the 16th basic course at the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) Training School, marking a key milestone in their professional development.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, AIG Police Welfare Faryal Farid, who spoke at the passing-out parade, emphasized the importance of respecting human rights and the dignity of citizens while fulfilling policing duties. The training, she noted, is part of a broader initiative to prepare the police force to effectively handle counter-terrorism activities and other security challenges in the region.

The training program included anti-terrorism courses and other specialized preparations designed to enhance the operational readiness of the police force. Commandant ATF Training School Colonel (retd) Asad Farooq, who also spoke at the event, highlighted the sacrifices made by Balochistan Police officers in maintaining regional peace and underscored the ongoing efforts to modernize the force to better tackle terrorism.

AIG Welfare Farid congratulated the graduates on their accomplishment and expressed confidence that the training would significantly boost their professional skills and readiness to protect life and property while dealing with anti-national elements.
