Balochistan Officials Conduct Third Open Court to Address Public Issues in Kachhi

Kachhi: In an effort to address various public issues, including infrastructure and utilities, an open court was held for the third time in Tehsil Much of Kachhi district under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Arslan Khan. The initiative, directed by Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Khan Bugti and Chief Secretary Balochistan, aims to find sustainable solutions to ongoing public complaints throughout the province.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the open court session focused on a range of issues raised by the local populace such as electricity and gas load shedding, high rates of inflation and unemployment, and the need for infrastructure repairs including the rehabilitation of the Government Mach High School building and construction and repair of roads in NA.65. Additionally, community members requested the construction of speed breakers and the repair of the Basic Health Unit in Bibi Nani. Concerns were also voiced about the condition of Samalani Colony and Wapda Colony pass roads, which had been closed after Mach Attock for security reasons.

The session was well-attended, with various district heads and people of the area participating alongside officers from FC Wing 135. Immediate orders were issued to resolve some of the pending requests on the spot. The administration also updated the attendees on the progress of issues highlighted in the previous sessions and took new problems in written form to ensure systematic follow-up.

Going forward, the tehsil and district administrations have committed to taking every possible step to address the public’s concerns, including informing higher authorities to ensure comprehensive solutions. The proactive approach of holding open courts is part of a broader strategy by Balochistan’s leadership to directly engage with citizens and swiftly address their grievances at the local level.
