Quetta: Bakht Muhammad Kakar, the Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development, has declared his commitment to serving the people of his constituency, emphasizing the provision of basic amenities and the introduction of a new youth policy. He expressed his determination to not let the people down and to ensure they benefit from these facilities. The minister also pointed out the faults of past administrations, criticizing previous public sector development programs (PSDP) for being marred by corruption and inefficiency, which led to public disillusionment and stagnation.
Further elaborating on his plans, Kakar revealed that for the first time in the history of the province, a youth policy is being introduced by the provincial government. This initiative is expected to open new employment avenues for the youth and secure their welfare. He stressed the importance of this policy in bringing hope to the young population and empowering them to make their own decisions for the future.
Kakar concluded his address by condemning the prior government’s approach, which often highlighted temporary or artificial issues as significant public problems, thereby spreading frustration among the residents, particularly the youth. He assured that the current government is making substantial efforts to alleviate these frustrations and is committed to the genuine development of the province.
