Balochistan Interior Minister Criticizes Exiled Leaders for Fueling Unrest

Quetta: Balochistan Interior Minister Mirziaullah Longo has openly criticized leaders advocating for an independent Balochistan from abroad, accusing them of destabilizing the region while living comfortably in Europe. In a statement released Wednesday, Longo condemned the actions of these exiled figures, asserting that their campaigns do not truly represent the interests of Balochistan’s people.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Longo expressed frustration over the conduct of certain Baloch leaders who have settled in Europe and are allegedly inciting local unrest via social media. He challenged these individuals to return to Balochistan and confront the situation directly rather than influencing events from a distance. Longo also cautioned the people of Balochistan, especially the youth, against being swayed by what he described as a minority operating from European comforts, whose actions are aligned more with foreign agendas than with the welfare of the local populace.

The minister further argued that genuine rights and progress cannot be achieved through remote advocacy and stressed the importance of local involvement in the developmental efforts within Balochistan. He urged the youth to contribute positively to the region’s future, dismissing the external influences that he claims are aimed at pleasing enemy states rather than fostering local prosperity.
