Quetta: In a significant development at the Balochistan High Court, the Election Tribunal led by Justice Abdullah Baloch has mandated the verification of votes for Constituency PB-38 Quetta-1. This order pertains to the case involving Ainullah Shams and Malik Naeem Bazai, focusing on the authenticity of electoral documents and votes.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the tribunal has ordered a comprehensive examination of forms 45, 46, 47, and 48, with fingerprint verification by NADRA to determine if the election was conducted fairly or if there were discrepancies. The decision comes after reviewing claims and evidence presented by both parties in the dispute.
Additionally, the plaintiff Ainullah Shams has been directed to cover all costs associated with the verification process. Legal representation for the parties included Qazi Najibur Rehman and Kamran Murtaza for the plaintiff, while Amanullah Kunrani represented Malik Naeem Bazai, with Nusrat Baloch, Assistant Advocate General, representing the Government of Balochistan.
