Balochistan Health Minister Convenes Meeting to Enhance Medical Facilities

Quetta: Newly appointed Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar recently presided over a critical meeting with top officials of the Balochistan Health Department, aimed at improving healthcare services across the province.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting brought together key figures including Director General Health Balochistan Dr. Amin Khan Mandukhel, Principal BMC College Prof. Raz Mohammad Kakar, and several additional secretaries and directors. The assembly discussed strategic plans to leverage existing resources to boost medical and general facilities in hospitals. The gathering was part of an initiative following an announcement by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, focusing on departmental reforms to ensure the provision of quality health facilities.

The meeting also included discussions on the development of a functional strategy to implement these health reforms effectively. Among the attendees were MD Trauma Center Dr. Arbab Kamran Kasi, MS Civil Hospital Quetta Dr. Ishaq Panizai, and other prominent healthcare executives from the region. Each participant contributed insights on enhancing healthcare services, emphasizing the urgency of the situation and the provincial government’s commitment to health sector improvements.

This assembly marks a significant step in the provincial government’s efforts to address healthcare challenges in Balochistan, aiming to make substantial improvements in the health sector for better public service delivery.
