Balochistan Governor Stresses Quality Over Quantity in Higher Education

Quetta, Governor of Balochistan, Jafar Khan Mandokhel, emphasized the importance of quality over quantity in the province’s higher education institutions during a public address. The Governor articulated a vision aimed at transforming Balochistan’s educational landscape by enhancing the standards of academic offerings rather than merely expanding them.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Governor Mandokhel stated that while expanding educational opportunities in Balochistan is crucial, the primary focus should remain on elevating the quality of education to match national and international standards. He expressed his aspiration for the universities in Balochistan to not only increase in number but to excel in quality to the extent that they are recognized among the top institutions in Pakistan.

The Governor highlighted that the true measure of success for educational institutions lies in their capacity to offer high-quality education and produce graduates who can compete on both national and global stages. He called for a strategic shift in priorities from increasing the number of educational facilities to enhancing their educational outputs and infrastructure.
