Balochistan Government Plans to Enhance Legal Aid for Women

Quetta: The Balochistan government has expressed a strong commitment to bolstering support for women throughout the province, with a particular focus on enhancing legal aid. This announcement was made by Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for the Women Development Department, during a meeting with a delegation of female lawyers.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Government of Balochistan, Dr. Buledi discussed the provincial government’s dedication to creating a robust support system for women. The meeting highlighted the government’s initiative to work closely with female lawyers to improve the status of women in Balochistan. During this gathering, the delegation of women lawyers discussed their support for Dr. Buledi’s leadership and proposed the establishment of a new organization dedicated to the welfare of women. This organization would provide free legal aid and services to women who are facing legal challenges but cannot afford representation.

The proposed initiative is designed to ensure that the rights of financially disadvantaged women are protected and that their voices are heard. Dr. Buledi welcomed the proposal and commended the female lawyers for their proactive stance on addressing the challenges women face in the region. She reiterated the importance of empowering women through legal support and confirmed her department’s continuing commitment to advancing women’s rights and welfare in Balochistan.
