Balochistan Government Advances on Development Projects for 2024-2025

Quetta: A pivotal review meeting led by Provincial Secretary for Local Government and Rural Development Abdul Rauf Baloch assessed the progress of development projects under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for 2024-2025. The meeting, attended by key departmental directors and engineers, discussed the advancement of various initiatives, including eco-friendly parks and infrastructure schemes across the province.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Secretary Baloch underscored the commitment to complete all development schemes by December of this year as directed by Minister Ali Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti. Notably, the tendering process has been finalized for 413 approved projects, signaling a significant step forward in the government’s development agenda.

The meeting highlighted the local government’s strategy to provide better services and complete projects on time, despite the challenges posed by a growing population and limited resources. Director General of Local Government and Rural Development Agha Zulfiqar Shah emphasized the importance of transparency and quality in the execution of these projects.

Secretary Baloch concluded the meeting by urging immediate implementation of plans to ensure that the benefits of these development projects reach the people promptly. He praised the efforts of all field officers involved in the timely completion of the tender process and the overall planning of PSDP 2024-2025.
