Quetta, In an effort to enhance the infrastructure for governmental operations in Balochistan, Provincial Minister of Communications and Construction Mir Salim Ahmad Khosa reaffirmed the commitment to timely completion and quality standards of development projects across the province. This declaration came during the inspection of the ongoing construction of committee rooms and offices at the MPA Hostel project.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, during a briefing led by the Technical Advisor of the Department of Communications and Construction, Mukhtiar Ahmed Kakar, details of the construction were shared with the Minister. The project, which began in 2022, features extensive facilities including two committee rooms, multiple offices for chairmen and personal assistants, staff offices, a secretary assembly office, kitchen facilities, separate areas for women, prayer spaces, and a library. It is set to be completed within the same year.
Minister Khosa expressed satisfaction with the project’s progress and quality, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards across all provincial development projects. He insisted that the MPA hostel and related facilities be expedited to serve the needs of elected assembly members and staff effectively. Khosa’s directives underscored a zero-tolerance policy for negligence in ongoing projects, stressing that each must reflect a standard of excellence that distinguishes Balochistan’s developmental efforts.
