Quetta: In a significant development within the Balochistan Constabulary, the Departmental Promotion Committee, chaired by Additional IGP/Commandant Agha Muhammad Yousuf, has approved the promotion of 168 personnel across various ranks. The meeting, held on the directive of Inspector General of Police Moazzam Ja Ansari, focused on enhancing the structure of the force through a series of promotions.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the promotions included 25 personnel moving from ASI to Sub-Inspector, 45 from Head Constable to Assistant Sub-Inspector, and 98 constables elevated to Head Constables. The promotions were based on seniority, completion of necessary departmental courses, and commendable service records. The new promotions have reportedly uplifted the spirits of the personnel, reinforcing their dedication to contribute effectively to the nation’s progress and to diligently follow the directives of their superiors.
