Quetta: The Balochistan Constabulary’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of its personnel was emphasized in a monthly meeting chaired by Additional IGP Commandant Agha Muhammad Yusuf. The session, which included key zonal commanders and senior officers, focused on improving attendance monitoring and ensuring the transparent use of resources.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw discussions on digitizing attendance and leave records to better safeguard the rights and welfare of the constabulary’s personnel. Additional IGP Commandant Yusuf issued directives to prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for these digital initiatives and to submit them to the BC Head Office promptly.
The Additional IGP also stressed the transparent and rule-based use of the budget, a move intended to foster accountability and efficiency within the organization. He further instructed zonal commanders and transport officers to maintain high standards in vehicle management, including cleanliness, repairs, and workshop operations, warning that any lapses would result in strict departmental actions.
The commandant’s directives extended to coordination with Deputy Commissioners in respective zones to address on-duty challenges faced by the jawans, such as water availability and other basic necessities, ensuring that they can perform their duties with full dedication.
This meeting marks a significant step towards improving the operational efficiency and welfare conditions of the Balochistan Constabulary, reflecting a broader effort to enhance the effectiveness and morale of the force.
