Pashin: During a one-day visit to Pashin on Tuesday, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed his commitment to solving local issues, including the immediate reopening of closed public schools and the transformation of Pashin into a model town. The visit also included condolences to the family of Haji Abdul Nabi, a local dignitary.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Chief Minister Bugti, after offering his condolences to the family of Haji Abdul Nabi, uncle of provincial assembly member Asghar Khan Tareen, engaged with tribal elders and local residents to discuss their problems. The Chief Minister was particularly moved by the issues surrounding the closure of public schools in the area due to a lack of teaching staff.
In response, he directed the district administration to begin the recruitment of teachers on a contractual basis to reactivate the closed schools. He set a strict deadline, mandating that all schools be operational by December 14. Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that addressing public issues effectively requires robust governance and assured that service delivery across Balochistan would be enhanced by revitalizing relevant departments.
During his interactions, Chief Minister Bugti announced the appointment of Zahid Khan, a noted civil officer from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, as Deputy Commissioner of Pashin. Zahid Khan’s role will focus on overseeing the completion of peace and development projects within the stipulated timeframes.
The visit, which underscored the government’s focus on educational and infrastructural development, was also attended by Balochistan Assembly Member Asghar Khan Tareen and Balochistan Government Spokesman Shahid Rand.
