Balochistan Chief Minister Pledges Support to Boxer Muhammad Waseem

Quetta: In a significant meeting with world boxer Muhammad Waseem and other prominent figures, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti committed to providing robust support to enhance Waseem’s professional capacity. The gathering included Member National Assembly Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, sports officials, and advisors, underscoring the government’s dedication to sports and youth development.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Chief Minister Bugti instructed the Sports and Culture Department to expedite a summary that would enable necessary actions to assist Waseem. He emphasized the importance of Balochistan’s youth policy, recently approved under the influence of Raisani, and praised Raisani’s contributions to the region’s sports and youth sectors.

The meeting highlighted Waseem’s role as a source of regional pride and his potential to elevate Balochistan’s stature on the international stage. Waseem expressed gratitude for the government’s support and vowed to continue his efforts to bring honor to Pakistan and Balochistan in global sporting arenas.
