Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has condemned an incident involving former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa in London and has called on the federal government to take decisive measures against those implicated. The Chief Minister has urged the authorities to seize the documents and passports of individuals involved in what he described as unethical behavior and to take stern action against these elements.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Chief Minister emphasized the significant contributions of Justice Isa and his family to the nation, highlighting their sacrifices and service. Justice Isa, who hails from Balochistan, is regarded as a respected figure, and the provincial government is demanding identification and action against those involved in the incident, including the revocation of their Pakistani documents and citizenship.
The Chief Minister expressed concern that the incident seems to be a response to Justice Isa’s refusal to allow the country’s higher judiciary to be used for specific agendas, a stance that he finds condemnable. He reiterated that Justice Isa is a cherished son of Balochistan and that the people of Pakistan hold his contributions in high regard.
