Balochistan Braces for Hot, Dry Weather and Dusty Winds

Quetta: The Regional Meteorological Center of Balochistan has forecasted a continuation of hot and dry conditions across the province, with cooler nights expected in the northern districts including Quetta. The eastern and southern regions will similarly experience dry heat, while various areas are set to face dusty winds in the coming days.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the weather outlook indicates no significant change in temperature patterns, with hot days leading into cooler nights particularly in northern areas such as Quetta. Dusty winds are anticipated to affect several districts including Chaman, Pishin, Quetta, Kalat, Sorab, Nokundi, Turbat, Washik, Panjgur, Awaran, and the coastal belt comprising Gwadar, Jiwani, Pasni, Ormara, Hab, and Lasbela during the afternoon and evening hours of Thursday.

Residents and visitors in the affected areas are advised to prepare for the prevailing conditions, which are typical for this time of the year but may still pose challenges due to dust and dryness.
