Balochistan Assembly Enhances Member Welfare and Security Measures

Quetta: The House and Library Committee of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, chaired by Deputy Speaker Madam Ghazala Gola, convened in the Deputy Speaker Chamber to discuss and implement new measures aimed at improving facilities and security for Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPA).

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the committee resolved to make the MPs hostel operational and to enhance the management and security of MPs lodges. Plans to digitize the assembly library were also approved, with additional decisions to allocate rooms for committee chairpersons in the new building and to establish formal rules for the use of the MPs hostel. Attendees included Samad Khan Gurgej, Mir Ghulam Dastgir Badini, Ravi Pahuja, Ms. Safia, and State Officer of the Assembly, Abdul Hanan Katkezai.

These initiatives are part of a broader effort to streamline the assembly’s operations and ensure the safety and efficiency of its members, reflecting a commitment to maintaining a functional and secure legislative environment.
