Quetta: Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi, Adviser to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for the Department of Women Development, emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between government bodies, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and civil society to achieve sustainable development goals in the province.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Dr. Bilidi made these remarks during a consultation session at the National Institute of Management in Quetta, which included participation from various stakeholders, including government representatives and international partners. She highlighted the critical need for prioritizing education, health, and economic independence of women, particularly in remote areas, to drive long-term social improvement and development in Balochistan. Dr. Bilidi also recognized the role of international organizations like the UNDP in supporting projects that deliver lasting results.
Dr. Bilidi underscored that sustainable development would be incomplete without the active participation of women and stressed that women’s education and economic empowerment must remain top priorities. She expressed optimism that the session would result in a robust strategy for the next four years, further advancing the welfare of the province’s people.
