Bahria University Rector Discusses Educational Initiatives with Federal Planning Minister Muhammad Sami Saeed

Islamabad, Vice Admiral (Retired) Asif Khaliq, Rector of Bahria University, met with the caretaker Federal Minister for Planning Development & Special Initiatives, Muhammad Sami Saeed, to discuss advancements in education, professional training, and skill enhancement. The meeting highlighted the importance of educational reforms in the face of emerging challenges and the government’s commitment to support these initiatives.

According to Press Information Department (PID), the Rector of Bahria University outlined the university’s key initiatives and achievements. The Planning Minister emphasized the need for reforms in the education sector and mentioned several initiatives undertaken by the Ministry. The meeting also noted the significant increase in the budget of the Higher Education Commission, marking a historic rise from Rs40 billion to Rs70 billion, underlining the government’s focus on enhancing higher education in Pakistan.
