Bahria University College of Medicine Opens in Islamabad with Navy Chief as Inaugural Guest

Islamabad: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf officially inaugurated the Bahria University College of Medicine (BUCM) in Islamabad. At the opening ceremony, Admiral Ashraf highlighted the potential for BUCM to become a leading institution in medical education due to the professionalism and dedication of its faculty. He also toured the campus facilities, noting their modern infrastructure.

According to Pakistan Navy, the rector of Bahria University, Vice Admiral (R) Asif Khaliq, opened the ceremony by thanking the Chief Guest and recognizing the Pakistan Navy’s support in developing the campus. The Project Director of Bahria University Health Sciences Islamabad outlined the new facilities available to students, which include state-of-the-art medical technologies and educational resources. The event saw attendance from high-ranking officials from the Health Ministry, PM and DC, HEC, along with former rectors of Bahria University, and various civil and military dignitaries. Faculty members and students also participated in this significant inaugural event.
