Islamabad: At the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is scheduled to embark on an official visit to Pakistan from October 7 to 8, 2026. The visit aims to enhance bilateral relations and explore avenues for cooperation in various sectors.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit will feature the 3rd Session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission, co-chaired by Senator Dar and Dr. Al Zayani. Discussions will cover a broad range of topics, including trade, investment, economic cooperation, defense and security, labor and manpower, and cultural exchanges. Additionally, the two sides will exchange perspectives on regional and international issues of mutual interest and discuss collaboration at multilateral forums.
Pakistan and Bahrain have historically maintained strong ties based on shared faith, values, and mutual respect, with frequent high-level exchanges fostering cooperation in multiple areas. The upcoming visit underscores the ongoing momentum in their relationship and the dedication of both nations to strengthen bilateral cooperation and advance mutually beneficial partnerships.
