Manama: Bahrain has commended Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to foster dialogue and diplomacy in pursuit of peace and stability in the region. This acknowledgment came during a telephone conversation between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders discussed the current regional situation, with Deputy Prime Minister Dar emphasizing the urgent need for de-escalation and the significance of dialogue. He highlighted the Pakistan-China five-point initiative aimed at enhancing peace and stability in the Middle East and the Gulf region.
Both leaders also exchanged views on multilateral efforts, including discussions at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), and agreed to maintain close communication.
