Islamabad: In a significant development at the Parliament House today, Mr. Azim Uddin Zahid was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture. The election, marked by a consensus among members, underscores a collaborative forward path for the committee.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the meeting was presided over by the Additional Secretary (Committees), Syed Jawad Murtaza Naqvi, who introduced the election procedure. Mr. Khurram Shahzad Nawaz initially proposed Mr. Zahid’s candidacy, which was promptly seconded by Mr. Muhammad Aslam Ghumman, leading to Mr. Zahid’s unanimous election.
