Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Pledges to Transform Poonch Through Tourism

Muzaffarabad: In a significant declaration, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar Haq of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir has announced an ambitious initiative to boost tourism in Poonch, aiming to enhance the region’s economy and improve the standard of living for its residents. This effort is part of a broader strategy to develop the area into a vibrant tourism corridor.

According to Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Haq emphasized the transformative potential of the tourism sector in Poonch during his recent statements. He pointed out that the natural beauty of the region could attract global attention and alleviate the economic challenges faced by the local populace. The Prime Minister also contrasted the peaceful conditions in Azad Kashmir with the turmoil in Indian-occupied Kashmir, highlighting the stark differences in governance and civil liberties.

He also mentioned an upcoming lawyers’ convention in Rawalakot, which will seek community input to refine these development plans.
