Azad Kashmir Information Minister Highlights Quranic Education’s Role in Achieving Success

Muzaffarabad, Maulana Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, Minister of Information for the Azad Government of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasized the significant role of Quranic teachings in achieving success in life during the “Nazara Qur’an and Fahm Qur’an” competition at Government Girls’ Degree College. The event was part of the Quran Education Model Program by the Character Education Foundation.

According to Press Information Department – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Minister Shah praised the Quran Education Model Program for its pivotal role in fostering moral and educational growth among the youth. He noted the historical impact of Quranic teachings on the Arab and Turk civilizations and stressed the need to revive these teachings to overcome current challenges of nihilism and sectarianism. During the event, shields were awarded to students who excelled in the competition, emphasizing the importance of understanding and integrating the teachings of the Quran in daily life.

The ceremony also saw the participation of regional educational coordinators and executives from the Character Education Foundation, who together with Minister Shah, distributed awards and recognized the efforts of the students and faculty involved. The event underscored the government’s commitment to restoring cultural identity and moral values through enhanced religious education.
