Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prepares for AJK Youth Summit 2023

Azad Jammu and Kashmir, A key meeting was held to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming ‘AJK Youth Summit 2023,’ chaired by Secretary Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Ms. Mudhat Shahzad. The summit aims to engage and guide the youth on various critical issues.

According to the Press Information Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the meeting saw the participation of Dr. Khalid Rafiq, Director General of the Information Technology Board, Director of Jamia Kashmir Imtiaz Awan, Deputy Secretary Sports Rabia Naqvi, and other officials from the Department of Sports and Information. The attendees provided various suggestions for the summit.

The AJK Youth Summit, organized by the Department of Sports, Youth, and Culture, is scheduled to take place on November 27 in Muzaffarabad. The summit will feature five sessions focusing on issues such as human capital development, micro-financing, career prospects, governance, and the Kashmir issue. It will include the participation of political leaders from Azad Kashmir, government ministers, professionals from diverse fields, and senior officers from the region.

During the meeting, various committees were formed to manage different aspects of the event. Secretary Sports Ms. Mudhat Shahzad emphasized the summit’s objective to enlighten the youth about contemporary challenges, guide them in the right direction, and provide platforms for their development. She underscored that equipping the youth with knowledge and direction is a top priority for the government.

Ms. Shahzad instructed the committees to ensure meticulous planning and organization for the successful execution of the Youth Summit, emphasizing that every detail matters in creating a meaningful and impactful event for the participants.
