Islamabad: A delegation from the European Parliamentary Committee on Development met with Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, where discussions centered on strengthening the relationship between Pakistan and the European Union.
The meeting, held in Islamabad, was led by Raimundas Karoblis, the Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan. Ayaz Sadiq welcomed the delegation and highlighted the importance of deepening the existing ties between Pakistan and the EU.
Sadiq stressed that parliamentary diplomacy plays a crucial role in fostering mutual understanding and enhancing people-to-people connections while supporting shared democratic ideals.
During the discussions, the delegation commended Pakistan’s efforts towards democratic consolidation, institutional strengthening, and human development, signaling a positive outlook for future collaborations.
