Islamabad: In a meeting with a delegation from the European Parliamentary Committee on Development, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the need for enhanced relations between Pakistan and the European Union. The delegation, led by Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan Raimundas Karoblis, was received in Islamabad, where discussions focused on fortifying the long-standing partnership.
Sadiq highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy as a critical tool for fostering mutual understanding and promoting democratic values. He noted that such diplomatic engagements are essential for building strong people-to-people connections between the two regions.
