Aurangzeb Supports Honeywell’s Refinery Modernization Plan for Pakistan

Washington, D.C.: A delegation from Honeywell Technologies met with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb to discuss the company’s proposal for modernizing and expanding Pakistan’s refinery sector. The meeting, held in Washington, D.C., focused on the potential benefits of the initiative, which aims to boost domestic refining capacity and lessen dependence on imported petroleum products.

According to Radio Pakistan, Finance Minister Aurangzeb expressed support for Honeywell’s proposal, highlighting its potential to enhance energy security and contribute to the country’s industrial development and economic growth. The initiative is seen as a step toward achieving sustainable economic progress in Pakistan. Barry Glickman, Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Technologies, led the delegation in discussions with the Finance Minister.
