Islamabad: Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, participated in the United Cultures Forum held in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Thursday, representing Pakistan on the international stage.
During the meeting of heads of delegation, Khichi addressed the forum under the theme “Return to Culture – New Opportunities.” He emphasized the essential role of culture in fostering a peaceful, inclusive, and cohesive global community. Khichi highlighted Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, asserting that cultural exchanges contribute to mutual respect and global harmony.
Khichi reiterated Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to promoting dialogue among civilizations. He expressed support for initiatives that bridge divides through art, heritage, and cultural cooperation.
The United Cultures Forum convened 21 ministers of culture from around the world, providing a platform for sharing experiences and enhancing international collaboration in cultural diplomacy.
