Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminate terrorism from the country. Speaking to the media in Lahore, Tarar emphasized that terrorists would be met with strong resistance.
He acknowledged the significant sacrifices made by various groups, including the Pakistan Army, police, law enforcement agencies, religious scholars, civilians, and children, in combating terrorism.
Tarar highlighted the success of military operations such as Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-ul-Fasaad, which were conducted with the full support of the nation, resulting in restored peace.
He criticized a political party for advocating dialogue with the Fitna al Khawarij, suggesting it undermines the sacrifices made by the nation.
