Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar marked Youm-e-Takbeer as a significant day in Pakistan’s history, celebrating the nation’s nuclear achievements and its unwavering stance on sovereignty. In his address, he lauded the efforts of all who contributed to the country’s nuclear program, declaring the day as one where Pakistan showcased its resolve and independence to the world.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar’s remarks on the anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer emphasized that the nuclear tests conducted under the leadership of then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were a clear declaration of Pakistan’s autonomy and strength. He paid homage to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the architect of Pakistan’s nuclear program, and his team, acknowledging their critical role in the nation’s defense capabilities.
