Attack on Former Chief Justice’s Vehicle in London Condemned by Federal Interior Minister


Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the attack on the vehicle carrying former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa in London. He has ordered the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to identify the attackers using video footage and announced plans to take legal action, including the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) in Pakistan.



According to Press Information Department, Naqvi stated that the identity cards and passports of the attackers would be blocked, and steps would be taken to revoke their citizenship. He noted that the case for revoking citizenship would be forwarded to the cabinet for approval. Naqvi emphasized that no attacks of this nature would be tolerated, and highlighted concerns about the lack of security provided to Isa, despite known threats. The incident involved an attack on a vehicle belonging to the Pakistani High Commission, raising additional security concerns.
