At UNGA, Turk President calls for Kashmir resolution through dialogue

United Nations, September 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): The President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erodogan, has stressed on dialogue between Pakistan and India for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Turkish President in his address to the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York said this will pave the way for peace, stability and prosperity in South Asia.

He said his country will continue to support the steps to be taken in this direction.

“Developments that will pave the way for regional peace, stability and prosperity in South Asia will be the establishment of a just and lasting peace in Kashmir through dialogue and cooperation between India and Pakistan,” he said.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan also reaffirmed his country’s support to the Palestinian people in their struggle for legitimate rights.
