Islamabad, The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has sanctioned three projects totaling 658.8 million US Dollars, aimed at bolstering Pakistan’s efforts towards achieving more inclusive and sustainable growth and development.
According to Asian Development Bank, Yevgeniy Zhukov, stated that these projects would concentrate on enhancing domestic resource mobilization and boosting agricultural productivity to strengthen food security in Pakistan. He underscored the significance of this substantial financial support in aiding Pakistan’s recovery from the dual challenges of last year’s cost-of-living crisis and the devastating super-floods, thereby steering the country back onto the course of long-term developmental progress.
This strategic investment by the ADB reflects a strong commitment to supporting Pakistan’s initiatives to address key economic challenges, particularly in sectors that are crucial for the nation’s holistic growth and the well-being of its population.
