Islamabad, Maulana Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, the Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony, has made a strong appeal to the Muslim Ummah to sever ties with the Indian government. This call to action comes in response to India’s alleged atrocities in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and its support to Israel through drone supplies used in attacks in Rafah. Ashrafi’s statements were made during a news conference in Islamabad today, where he also demanded that the international community, especially the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, intervene to halt the actions of Israel and India against innocent Palestinians and Kashmiris.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ashrafi highlighted the dual role of India in the regional conflict. On one side, India is accused of committing severe human rights violations in Kashmir, and on the other, it is purportedly facilitating Israeli military operations by supplying drones. These actions, Ashrafi argues, reveal a concerning alliance between India and Israel against Muslim communities.
The demand for a collective stance from the Muslim nations against the Indian government underscores the escalating tensions and the urgent need for diplomatic interventions to address the alleged human rights abuses in Kashmir and Palestine. Ashrafi’s call emphasizes the importance of unity within the Muslim Ummah in confronting these challenges and protecting the rights of Muslims worldwide.
