Islamabad, General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, visited the Corps Level Collective Training exercise of the Strike Corps.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the exercise aimed to validate offensive operational concepts and featured advanced VT-4 tanks leading complex maneuvers.
During his visit, the Army Chief interacted with troops participating in the exercise, praising their operational efficiency, professionalism, and verve. He emphasized the importance of combat readiness and mental agility in responding to a multi-spectral threat environment. The Army Chief also noted the significance of achieving synergy among various military arms and appreciated the proficiency gained in night operations.
COAS General Munir reiterated that realistic and mission-oriented training during peacetime is crucial for battlefield excellence. He was received by the Commander of the Mangla Corps upon arrival.
