Army Chief Meets Pakistan Hockey Team at GHQ in Rawalpindi


Rawalpindi, General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), hosted the Pakistan Hockey team at the General Headquarters today, celebrating their recent achievements and reinforcing the military’s support for sports in Pakistan.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, the meeting included discussions on the team’s performance, with the COAS praising the players for bringing pride to the nation. “The hockey team has brought immense pride to the nation, and we are committed to providing them with comprehensive support to ensure their continued success,” stated General Munir. President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), Tariq Hussain, along with other officials, expressed gratitude for the support and the opportunity to discuss furthering hockey in Pakistan.
