Army Chief Hosts Iftar for Pakistan Cricket Team in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), hosted an Iftar dinner at Army House, Rawalpindi, for the Pakistan Cricket Team. This event followed the team’s physical training completion at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) in Kakul, Abbottabad.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the dinner was attended by the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, and other PCB officials. The COAS took this opportunity to interact with the team members, offering them best wishes for their future sports-related activities.

The Pakistan Cricket Team acknowledged the high-quality training they received at Kakul and expressed gratitude towards the COAS for the support extended by the Army in promoting sports in Pakistan. This event signifies the ongoing relationship and support between the national sports teams and the military establishment.
