ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has called for unified efforts to combat terrorism effectively. Speaking at the Federal Apex Committee meeting of the National Action Plan, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, General Munir stressed the importance of collective action to tackle the threat.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Munir stated that all Pakistanis play a crucial role in the fight against terrorism, regardless of whether they wear a uniform. He issued a stern warning to anyone attempting to undermine national security, asserting that such actions would result in significant consequences.

General Munir highlighted the daily sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies to address governance challenges. He emphasized that the Constitution of Pakistan is paramount, placing the responsibility for both internal and external security on their shoulders.
