Army Chief Commends Pakistan Air Force’s Professionalism at Risalpur Graduation Ceremony

Islamabad, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir praised the Pakistan Air Force for their professionalism and valor in protecting the nation. He expressed these commendations while addressing the graduation ceremony of various courses at the PAF Academy Risalpur.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event marked the graduation of the 149th General Duty (Pilot), 95th Engineering, 105th Air Defence, 25th A and SD, Eighth Log, and 131st Combat Support Courses. A total of 144 Aviation Cadets, one Gentleman Cadet, and four Naval Cadets were honored at the ceremony. Notable awardees included Aviation Cadet Squadron Under Officer Muhammad Junaid Malik, who received the Sword of Honour for best overall performance in the College of Flying Training.

Other awardees were Aviation Cadet Sargent Faseeh Abbas, who won the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Trophy for best performance in General Service Training; Aviation Cadet Habib Ur Rehman, who earned the Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for top performance in the Air Defence Course; and Aviation Cadet Muhammad Arsalan Shakeel, recognized for excellence in the Admin and Special Duties Course. The Asghar Khan Trophy for best performance in the Combat Support Course went to Aviation Cadet Khushhal Khan, while the Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for Engineering was awarded to Pakistan Naval Cadet Sargent Amanullah.

General Munir congratulated the graduates and their families, and the ceremony concluded with an aerial display featuring fighter aircraft and aerobatics. The parade included distinguished military and civilian guests and the parents of the cadets. Upon arrival, General Munir was received by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
