Narowal: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir affirmed that the armed forces are fully capable of defending the country’s territorial integrity with the support of the nation. During a visit to a field training exercise near Narowal and Sialkot, he emphasized the necessity of maintaining preparedness against adversarial threats.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Munir highlighted the importance of continuous readiness to counter potential threats. During his visit, he received a detailed briefing on the exercise’s objectives, which included enhancing professional skills and battlefield procedures to meet emerging operational challenges.
The training exercise involved integrated operations by various military units, including Armour, Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defence, Army Aviation, and Anti-Tank Guided Missile units. It also showcased the use of electronic warfare capabilities to disrupt enemy communications and address disinformation on the battlefield.
General Munir praised the training standards, operational readiness, and morale displayed during the exercise.
