RIYADH: A gathering of Foreign Ministers from Arab-Islamic nations has made a firm call for Iran to stop its attacks on countries within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as well as Jordan, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye. The Consultative Ministerial Meeting, held in Riyadh, issued a joint statement emphasizing the importance of adhering to international laws and humanitarian principles to de-escalate tensions and promote regional security and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Foreign Ministers highlighted the need for fostering diplomacy as a tool to resolve ongoing regional crises. The group underscored their support for the security, stability, and territorial integrity of Lebanon, while also condemning Israel’s aggressive actions against Lebanon and its territorial ambitions in the region.

The statement from the meeting reflects a unified stance among the Arab-Islamic countries on the necessity of respecting principles of good neighborliness and international frameworks, aiming to foster peace and cooperation in the Middle East.
