According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this crucial phase in the election preparation allows candidates to challenge the decisions regarding their nomination papers, a key step in confirming their eligibility to contest in the elections. Following the deadline, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will deliberate on these appeals and is expected to announce its decisions by the 10th of this month.

In the following stages of the electoral process, the ECP will display a preliminary list of candidates on the 11th. This will provide an opportunity for candidates to assess their standing and, if necessary, withdraw their nominations by the 12th of this month.

These symbols play a vital role in the electoral process, especially in helping voters identify their preferred candidates and parties on the ballot paper.

The culmination of these procedural steps paves the way for the actual polling day, which is set for the 8th of the following month. This election is being keenly observed both nationally and internationally, as it is crucial for determining Pakistan’s political direction for the coming years.
