APHC Warns of Dangers of Ignoring Kashmir Situation, Likens to Palestine Issue

SRINAGAR, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has raised alarms over India’s domineering policy and highlighted the potential danger the lingering Kashmir dispute poses for igniting a nuclear confrontation in the South Asian region.

According to the Kashmir Media Service, an APHC spokesperson’s statement in Srinagar implored the global community, particularly the United Nations, to not overlook the intensifying situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The spokesperson drew a parallel, warning that negligence towards the Kashmir issue could have similarly devastating repercussions as the unresolved conflict in the Middle East concerning Palestine. They further emphasized that a just resolution to the conflict is paramount for regional peace.

The APHC conveyed that, regardless of the severe measures and military might wielded by India to quell their aspirations for freedom, the spirits of the Kashmiris remain unwavering. The statement shed light on the harrowing daily reality: Kashmiris are martyred, key leaders are incarcerated, and countless individuals, including religious scholars, are detained under stringent laws in various detention centers. India’s agenda, the statement suggested, is to systematically exterminate Kashmiris to alter the demographic balance in the occupied region.
