Srinagar, August 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed to the Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control, Pakistan and across the world to observe Ashra-e-Muzahamat (10-Day Resistance) from August 5 to August 15, 2021.
As per the programme chalked out by the APHC in Srinagar, special prayers will be offered each day in the evening, while the 5th of August will be observed as Black Day. The APHC has also called for a march towards Lal Chowk on August 5. Complete shutdown marked by civil curfew and blackout from 8:00pm to 8:30pm will be observed and black flags will be displayed everywhere on the day.
On 11th of August 2021, special prayer meetings will be organised to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of Shaikh Abdul Aziz and other martyrs who were killed by the brutal Indian forces on this day while leading a mammoth march to Azad Kashmir in 2008 against the economic blockade of the Kashmir valley by extremist Hindus of Jammu. The Kashmiris will pay tribute to Shaheed-e-Azeemat Shaikh Abdul Aziz and other martyrs.
As per APHC schedule, on Pakistan’s Independence Day on 14th of August 2021, special prayer meetings will be held for the wellbeing of the Muslim Ummah, especially Pakistan for its sincere help on moral, political and diplomatic fronts to the legitimate movement for right to self determination of the people of Indian Illegally occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
On India’s Independence Day on 15th of August 2021, Black Day with complete shutdown and civil curfew will be observed in the territory. Black flags will be hoisted everywhere while protest rallies will be organised against the widespread killings, custodial disappearances, arbitrary detentions, molestation of women and vandalizing of residential houses in addition to gross violation of human rights at the hands of Indian occupation forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
