Srinagar, July 07, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has rejected the rumours regarding cancellation of shutdown calls and other programs announced by it in connection with the ongoing Martyrs’ Week.
Rhe APHC spokesman in a press release issued in Srinagar made it clear that the programme has been publicised after thorough consultations with the cross-section of the pro-freedom people and unanimously decided by the Majlis-e-Shoora of the Hurriyat Conference.
He reiterated the publicised calendar to observe Martyrs’ Week from 6th July to 13th July wherein the pro-freedom people of the IIOJK have been appealed to observe complete shutdown on 8th July (Thursday) to mark the 5th martyrdom anniversary of popular youth leader, Burhan Wani, and on 13th July to pay homage and tributes to the martyrs of 13th July 1931.
In the calendar, the people of IIOJK have also been appealed to march in large numbers towards Tral, the native town of Burhan Wani, on July 08 and towards the Mazar-e-Shuhada at Naqshband Sahib in Srinagar on July 13 where the martyrs of 1931 remain buried.
