Srinagar, February 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference reiterating the shutdown call given by the illegally detained APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt has said the Kashmiri people will observe 9th and 11th of February as black days in protest against the hanging of two iconic Kashmiri leaders Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru by India in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail for the sacred cause of freedom.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar while paying rich tributes to Shaheed Maqbool Muhammad Butt and Shaheed Muhammad Afzal Guru said that both the martyrs infused a new spirit in the freedom movement of Kashmir and now the fourth generation is fully engaged with vigour and vitality to carry the noble mission of freedom to its logical conclusion. “The young generation while facing the brute forces of India are receiving bullets on their bared chests for raising their demand for right to self-determination,” added the statement.
The spokesman urged the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres to take serious cognizance of the genocide perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that keeping in view the most volatile situation prevailing in the occupied territory it has become inevitable to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolutions recognised by the World Body and the international community. Meanwhile, APHC leader Mukhtar Ahmed Waza addressing a condolence meeting in Kulgam stressed the leadership of Pakistan and India to take substantial steps to address the Kashmir dispute.
