APHC leaders pay tribute to youth martyred by Indian troops in IIOJK

Srinagar, September 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders have paid glowing tributes to the youth recently martyred by Indian troops in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops have martyred ten youth during so-called cordon and search operations in Islamabad, Baramulla, Poonch and Reasi districts of the occupied territory in the last two weeks.

The APHC leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Saleem Zargar, Yasmeen Raja, Maulana Musiab Nadvi, Muhammad Aqib and Umar Mughal in their statements issued in Srinagar said the killing of youth and other brutal action of Indian troops cannot intimidate the Kashmiri people into submission. They reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their just struggle for securing their UN-recognized right to self-determination till it reached its logical conclusion.

The APHC leaders expressed serious concern over the current worst human rights situation of occupied Kashmir. They also condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and activists lodged in different jails of India and IIOJK and demanded their immediate release.

The APHC leaders appealed to the United Nations to take steps to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its resolutions and the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
